First the TV and now the water heater...what's next? Hopefully if things come in three's we can actually count the vacuum cleaner from a couple of months ago and we are good to go.

I just felt prompted to find this talk today and read it and it is just what I needed and maybe it will be helpful to some of my fb friends right now too so I thought I would share.
We know from the scriptures that some trials are for our good and are suited for our own personal development.

Anyone want to move to our court in Lincoln? There is another house listed today, it is the same floorplan as ours only more upgrades and much nicer! Check it out, we would love to have some good neighbors!

If any of you in the local area have a hankering for Old Town Pizza tonight, head on over there and tell them you are supporting Lincoln Montessori. My kids' school gets 15% of any pizzas bought (as long as there are no discounts/coupons on the pizza)

If you know Jordan at all, you know he is our comedian. For his birthday, Jordan's grandparent's took him to dinner and to a clean comedy/improv group. The picture is of him eating his "Wild Boar" burger at the Flaming Grill which he loved. And he particularly loved the comedy show. He raved about it and he and Deia and Eli came and tried a lot of the skits with the rest of the kids. So naturally when it came time for Jordan's birthday party...which we did a month late...he wanted to incorporate the skits into his party. We already had Deia and Eli with us for the weekend anyway so they took over and helped Jordan do his party. The best part was that I didn't have to plan the party at all. I just left it up to them. They played Deia's curses game and then they did 2 different improv activities and the kids all had a great time. I was impressed at how funny Brady and Jordan were in particular! I was worried about the one shy kid but his parents told me later that night that he said it was the funnest party he had ever been to!

Deia and Jordan doing some improv...

On a side note, Eli and some of the other kids decided to climb the tree, I think one mom that I didn't know very well was worried when she saw this when she came to pick up her kid but I assured her that her kid was never in the tree, but I'm glad my boys get to be boys and do boy things.

Airplane ride

I saw Tucker walk out of the room with this rug in his hands and so I followed to ask what he was doing when I found him laying it across the table. He said I'm going on an airplane very matter of factly and then took off!

Baby Wrap

I just started trading babysitting with another mom so I could work at the older boys school and I get to watch her cute baby. The first day I had a lot to do and had planned to make a stew but could not remember how I used to get things done until I suddenly remembered the baby wrap. I dug it out and was able to get everything done while I carried him around and he even fell asleep! I love that wrap and wish I had had it with all the kids before Tucker! I had to get a picture because it had been so long since I used it!

This is what boys do when you get out their old stored away toys for their younger brother and they have the day off of school!

"I'm Three"

Tucker was so happy to be three. He was telling everyone at church that he was three and that he was a big boy now. When he came home from church this is what he found and he put his arms out to show how big it was. (The best part for me was that I got it for free on freecycle!)

He was super excited to find a train table underneath the wrapping and played with it the rest of the day and for days to come!
Since this was his only party we invited a few people that he named from church which all happen to be his older brother's friends and one of his favorite Young Woman!

Jordan turned 10

We celebrated Jordan's birthday along with Tucker's and a few family and friends. Jordan was excited about everything and particularly "his own pack of oreo's" as he put on his list and got from us and one from his aunt.
