Family Day

We had a rare day with nothing scheduled on one of the Monday holidays so we decided to make a family day of it.  We headed down to Oceanside and stopped by the beach for an hour and had a lot of fun taking pictures and walking the pier.  Then we headed to breakfast at the Broken Yolk Cafe.  We stopped by the California Mission for Eden to get some pictures for her project and then we spent the rest of the afternoon and Evening with Grandma Borgia.  It was really nice to spend the day together!

Jumping pictures were the theme of the day!

Brady and Eden had fun chasing each other around trying to kick water on each other.

Brady and Jordan tried to catch a picture of a high five mid-air, these are a few of the 50 outtake shots plus the closest one we got!

Sometimes you just need to write your name in the sand or make cool shadows!

They insisted on a picture in front of the bird that was hanging around on the garbage can!

We tried out some camera filters as well.

The Mission Project....

The kids picked oranges for Grandma B.

They always have fun with Grandma's toys.

The three older boys spent more time with the tinker toys than the younger kids, they spent a lot of time perfecting their trebuchet.

Sam told Eden about how Grandpa used to pay him to find golf balls on the side of his house so of course Eden had to take her own look and it didn't take long to find one!
