Thanksgiving Weekend

I'm finally catching up on the blog to finish out the year for our blog book! So back to Thanksgiving, we had a great weekend.  We started out with a family 5k run, a friend in the ward decided to put on a Turkey Trot in the park by our house! Brady came in 2nd place!  Kolby was not thrilled about it, but he finished and everyone else had fun running with their friends!

Then we headed down to Grandma Borgia's for Thanksgiving Dinner along with Sam's uncles Scott and Phil's families.  I thought these little plate directions that Heidi made for each of us were so cute!

I took some pictures of the pictures on the walls since Grandma B. is planning on moving in the next year.
While we were out that way, we decided to make a weekend of it in San Diego and we made our hotel room work for all of us!

Of course Eden and Tucker wanted to head straight to the pool!
The next day we headed to Coronado Island (after a stop at Walmart for some Black Friday shopping and snacks) and we loved it.  Everyone tried out Sam's purchase of the air couch thing and they spent a few hours playing frisbee and in the sand and water. Sam and I took a little walk down to the hotel to look around and we decided that we want to retire to a beach house on the Island!  Sam even returned the next day for a morning run.

That night we walked to dinner on the Marina by our hotel and the Eden and Tucker discovered a fun park right across the street from our hotel. (There's a few pictures at the end but they are dark and also some pictures from the walk Sam and I took on Coronado). The next day before we took off we stopped at Belmont Park for some mini golf, arcade and adventures. I went out onto the beach to get this picture.

Eden and Tucker were excited to try the ropes course but in the end Tucker got too scared, but Eden loved it.
